Turkish Visiting Researcher

The department of geology hosted a Turkish Researcher  from  Turkish University of Agadir in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the college  of science, organized a lecture entitled "Volcanic Complexes of the Ararat Region (A model study from Turkey)".

The lecture given by visiting professor Dr. Saleh Birkutan,  who is a lecturer and researcher at the Turkish University of Agadir, aimed at defining the region and the mountain of Ararat and its volcanoes in Turkey in the area called "East Anatolia" and its importance to geologists.
