Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research signed three memorandums of understanding with the universities of Swinburne ,New England ,Willongong for admitting Iraqi students , developing faculty members and carrying out postgraduate research as well as activating the cooperation of exchanging information and expertise.
The Ministry's spokesman Mr, Jabaar said that the three memorandums of understanding were signed by Dr. Bahaa Khadhum , director general of scholarships and cultural relations and three presidents and representatives of the Australian universities.
Mr. Jabaar added that the first memorandum of understanding signed with Swinburne University included the admission of Iraqi postgraduates in Engineering , Sciences Information and Communications. While the second included the cooperation of developing postgraduate researches and exchanging the scientific information in Agriculture, Environment and Water control. The third memorandum signed with Willingoing University included the admission of a number of Iraqi students to complete their postgraduate studies in Agriculture ,Engineering and Health .
